Black Lava stone was chosen for the Bushido series to symbolize endurance born from hardship.
Formed through volcanic fire and cooled into solid earth, lava stone reflects the warrior’s journey — chaos transformed into calm, pressure shaped into strength. In Bushido, true power is not shown through aggression, but through the ability to remain grounded when tested.
Unlike polished stones, Black Lava is raw and unassuming. Its porous surface absorbs rather than reflects, representing humility and emotional control. It does not seek attention, yet it holds immense presence.
This stone embodies Nintai (忍耐) — patient endurance. The strength to stay steady, composed, and rooted regardless of circumstance.
The 12mm bead size adds weight and solidity, serving as a physical reminder that resilience is built, not given.
